Sustainable Displays: Discovering Our Showcases
In this article, we delve into the details of our displays, each meticulously crafted to express our commitment to sustainability, drawing inspiration from the captivating world of theater. In collaboration with Milanese set and costume designer Barbara Petrecca, an expert in theatrical productions, we embarked on a journey to merge set design with storytelling, creating visually stunning exhibitions that are environmentally conscious.
The first showcase pays homage to the reuse and creative repurposing of materials. We've transformed discarded acrylic tubes into elegant ring holders, while a piece of colored wood serves as a jewelry stand. Natural stones, gathered from the earth, form the foundation of our presentation, adding an organic touch to the overall aesthetic. A dry branch, a testament to nature's strength, is placed as a suggestive backdrop for the earrings, imparting a rustic atmosphere.
We meticulously worked on the details, cleaning and cutting the acrylic tubes to create perfect spaces for the rings. Each element found its place: the colored wood, the natural stones, and even a circle stone, originally purposeless, have become integral parts of the scenery. To add a touch of mystery, a forgotten mirror completed the atmosphere, giving our display a lunar and enigmatic aura. With this composition, we've crafted an ideal environment to showcase our lilac and blue-themed collection, harmonizing it perfectly with the fine sand of our "memory beach."
The second showcase draws inspiration from the beauty and simplicity of nature. Using mother-of-pearl, moss, and fine sand, we've created an abstract structure that evokes serene landscapes of beaches and lush forests. We envision summer days, with walks on the beach in search of the most colorful and vibrant pebble, or in the woods, where intense and vivid colors envelop us in an atmosphere of pure beauty. Alternatively, we find ourselves in the countryside, surrounded by flowers blooming in a myriad of colors. These are sunny and lively moments, happy and playful, that remain imprinted in our memories and fill us with joy. It's precisely these seemingly insignificant details that make us fall in love with life.
Autumn is not just about rain and cold; it's an explosion of vibrant colors and can be incredibly inspiring. Our third showcase reflects exactly that. Using black rocks, moss, dried flowers, and mother-of-pearl, we've created a landscape that captures the magic and beauty of the season. Rich browns, fiery reds, and golden yellows reflect the warmth and vitality of this time of year.
These colors bring us back to the earth, to autumn leaves, or to the cozy warmth of a fireplace. They capture the magical beauty of autumn landscapes so beloved to photograph. These colors evoke a sense of security and passion, reminding us of the intrinsic beauty in the ever-changing tapestry of life.
Finally, we find ourselves immersed in the enchanting forest of our latest jewelry showcase. At the heart of this place shrouded in mystery and magic, unfolds a unique scenario of contrasts and harmonies. Pathways wind among the black stones shimmering under a dim light, while branches painted in black silhouette against the mother-of-pearl clouds. Gray-black sand and the deepest charcoal add depth to the landscape, creating an atmosphere of enigma and fascination.
The black and gray color of the earrings and rings blends with touches of neon pink and red, emitting energy and vitality. It's almost as if the forest had captured the neon light, creating an extraordinary interaction between the darkness of nature and the brightness of artifice.
